We are very privileged to be set in such historic surroundings. The Dudsbury Country Club is one of the many points of interest on a 5-mile heritage walk. This fascinating and insightful walk, which encompasses areas mentioned in the Doomsday Book, indicates Medieval boundaries, smuggler’s tracks, Bronze-age burial sites (2350-701BC) and the 2 rings of the Iron Age hill fort (700BC-43AD).
It is even possible to see the C14th pottery, which is housed in All Saint’s Church. Should you decide to walk or cycle, a map, pointing out foot/cycle paths and all the local landmarks, is available to take with you.
